Utah Guaranteed Bull Elk Hunts

1-3 Guests • Hotel • Private • Guided

Description

5 Day Rifle or Muzzle
6 Day Archery
Guided 1x1, 2x1, 3x1 or Semi-Guided

Utah has some of the finest trophy elk hunting in the world. Elk herds have high bull to cow ratios allowing elk hunters to bugle at aggressive rutting bulls for the ultimate elk hunting experience. Our past hunters have commented about seeing more elk on these Utah elk hunts than they've ever seen during any other open elk hunting season.

Guaranteed Elk Hunt
Shooting often runs 50% to 100%. If you don't get a shot opportunity, we'll refund 50% of your money.

Hunting Methods
Elk hunting methods include glassing and spotting, stalking, watching feeding areas, and short hikes to glassing areas. Since many areas are easily accessed using 4x4 vehicles, hunts can be arranged for hunters with physical limitations if needed.

Hunting Areas and Seasons
Hunting areas are located throughout central and northern Utah. Most hunt areas are only a 2 to 3 hour drive from Salt Lake City. Bow hunting opens in August with rifle and muzzleloader hunts open until November.

Guiding Options
Guided: Several guide ratios are offered that include accommodations, guiding, and game care.
Semi-Guided: Get meals and hunting advice in camp, hunt on your own, and get assistance with your game.

Accommodation Choices
Motel “Town Hunts:” Stay at a comfortable motel in town. Your guide will pick up & return hunters daily. Your room and restaurant meals are not included so remember to budget for these expenses.

Mountain Lodge: Enjoy indoor lodging in the mountains with cooked meals in the dining room, warm indoor bathrooms, and cozy bedrooms. It’s only minutes to many hunting areas.

Hosted Tent Camp: The camp is accessed by auto and usually has 4 to 10 Guided or Unguided hunters in camp. Includes tents, camp gear, portable toilet, kitchen area, water, cooked meals and services provided by staff.

Drive-In Drop Camp: Camp is accessed by auto and suited for 2 to 8 unguided hunters. You do not have to ride horses to get to camp. Includes tent, camp gear, water, portable toilet, firewood hand saw, and hunting advice. Bring your own food.

Spike Camp: This is a very modest camp for 1 to 3 hunters, with heat in the sleeping quarters and easy to prepare meals. Call before the hunt to verify that conditions are not too severe to camp. Bring your warm sleeping bag for the cot.

Rules & Guidelines

Licenses and Hunter Education
Utah Bull Elk limited-entry applications must be applied for in January and February. General season tags are available over the counter beginning in July until sold out. CWMU landowner tags are available until sold out. Hunters need Hunter Ed if born after Jan 1, 1965.

What’s Not Included
Your personal gear, sleeping bag, motel rooms, restaurant meals, meat processing and shipping, taxidermy, licenses, gratuities, and any other items not listed as being included.

Travel and Itinerary
If you fly into Salt Lake City and rent a car, it’s only about a 1 to 3 hour drive depending on which hunt area you choose. Arrive the evening before your hunt begins. The last evening stay at a motel near the butcher shop so you can clean up that evening and pick up your meat from the butcher shop in the morning before departing for home.
