Stand Bear Hunting Upstate New York

5-Day Hunt | Lake or River Fishing in the Afternoons


These hunts are located in upstate New York, and take place in the last two weeks of September. The take place from a stand, no bait. We are setup in the swamps and hollers where the bear are looking for food. You can expect to see bear up to 300 lbs, our average harvest weight is around 200 lbs.

All first-time hunters must pass one or more hunter education courses before they can get a hunting license in New York. Hunters 12 years and older must have a hunting license. Anyone under the age of 12 is unable to hunt.


Back tags must be visibly displayed on the middle of your back while hunting, except in the Northern Zone and Catskill Park.
