South Texas Cast & Blast
Corpus Christi, TX
2-4 Guests • No Lodging • Public/Private • Guided
Description
Our Cast & Blast trips include a morning duck hunt followed by an afternoon on the water.
CAST
We target redfish, trout, flounder, blackdrum and anything else that could be in your interest in the bay areas or Rockport, TX.
While redfish remain in the shallow bays for the first three years of their lives, each year as weather starts to transition from hot summer to cooler fall temperatures, a migration of the breeding stock starts to push the largest 3 to 4 year old redfish out to the Gulf of Mexico for spawning season and to live out the rest of their adult lives.
BLAST
During our duck hunts we target a variety of different ducks starting with early teal season in September and then we move on to general season starting in November!
Some of the ducks that we target and hunt our red heads, pintails, widgeon, gadwall, Greenwing/blue wing teal, spoonies, blue bills, mergansers, golden eyes, buffleheads and geese sometimes as well! These hunts are also out of the bay areas of Rockport, Texas.
Our hunts are dog-friendly.
