Saskatchewan Waterfowl Hunt

Description

Southern Saskatchewan provides the best waterfowl hunting in the world. We are located in the heart of the prairie pothole region. "We go where the birds go." We have to constantly adapt to changing weather and the fickle fowl we are pursuing. Our professional guides know what it takes to give clients a memorable view of one of nature's greatest spectacles, the Great Migration. Family friendly and always safe.

WATERFOWL

You can expect to see impressive flocks of ducks. A common staging ground, ducks are feeding aggressively before heading south. Along with mallards, you will harvest plenty of Pintail, Gadwall, and Wigeon. A typical goose hunt will consist of giant Greater Canada geese mixed with the occasional lesser flock.

Waterfowl hunts are typically between Sept. 15th - November 1st.

Traveling into Canada

We are based in Saskatchewan. In a farming community located in the southeast corner of the Saskatchewan province. Here you can enjoy a sportsman paradise. It is mostly cropland, where in the fall, the skies fill with migrating waterfowl making their last stop before entering the states. Being just south of the Qu’appelle River valley, it is not uncommon to have an opportunity at a record book Black Bear.

AIRPORTS: Regina Airport (YQR) is the closest Canadian airport (2 hr. drive) Minot, ND (MOT) is the closest US airport (3.5 hr. drive)

Bringing your dog: a current rabies vaccine certificate is all that is required. This can be obtained at your local vet, prior to your trip.
