ACCOMODATIONS

We believe that your experience at the lodge is just as important as your experience hunting or fishing. Our team goes to great lengths when you are with us to ensure you have the best vacation possible.

Our Lodges are primarily Argentine Estancias built by the Cattle Barons of the Early 20th Century. They were built with luxury and relaxation as the main goal.

After an exciting day in the field or on the water, you will be met by our staff and treated as if you were the Cattle Baron of yesteryear. Cold drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and a relaxing fire allow you to unwind from the glorious day afield and once you are thoroughly relaxed you will be called to the table and served a meal prepared by some of the finest chefs in Argentina.

Many of our clients say that the hunting and fishing bring them to Argentina but that our lodges and staff bring them back to uys.

The Lodge perfectly blends the charm of “old-world” Argentina with contemporary luxury, and offers 4-star amenities seldom found at hunting lodges. The Lodge sits on an immaculately-kept traditional estancia. 

This Estancia has built an amazing reputation for the comfortable rooms and the elaborate furniture of the living room.

The house, which has six double bedrooms with private bathrooms and a capacity for 12 hunters, has recently been refurbished making it very comfortable and appealing.

CUISINE

At this fantastic lodge you will have the opportunity to enjoy amazing Argentinian barbecue. We usually prepare it for lunch time with the best loin, beef, and sausage. All this will be combined with great wines, such as Malbec and Cabernet sauvignon, from the provinces of Mendoza or San Juan. At night you will be delighted with authentic Argentinian cuisine which includes red meat, pork, or chicken. You can also request special dishes if you have any food related disease or personal preference. We are sure you will enjoy it and be delighted by our chef!

THE FIELD

Regarding food, doves love olive trees, sunflowers, peanuts, and other crops like corn. Usually, around midday these birds rest over high eucalyptus trees, carob or local trees. Doves live near big feedlots we can find in the north of Cordoba, San Luis or Salta as these provinces have big cattle ranches. Weather conditions and water increase the development of their nesting areas.

Birds normally leave the roosting area with the first light of the day. They fly Forty to Sixty miles on average for food.

At our daily location, we will set up a tent, and prepare the famous Argentine barbecue. You will enjoy the amazing meat cuts accompanied by our well known special Malbec wines. After a great meal, depending on the time of the year, we will set hammocks to relax before the afternoon shoot.

THE HUNTING

The dove program starts at 7:00 am with a hearty breakfast. Around 7:30 am we take a short drive to the shooting field. The distance to the field is typically between twenty to forty minutes. After the morning shoot, we'll serve our typical Argentine BBQ, Asado, made up of the best meat Argentina has to offer. Followed by desserts and a quick siesta in the Hammock area. In the afternoon, we start the fun at around 3 pm for the evening shoot. Schedules may change depending on the time of the year.

At the dove field you will be assigned a personal field assistant for every 2 hunters. The assistant will provide you with shells, guns and soft drinks in your shooting spot. They'll also prepare your blind, count your birds and shells, and carry some stools to the field for you. In the evening, when everybody finishes the shooting day, we will return to the Lodge for drinks, snacks and delicious dinner. We welcome you to the best dove hunting you will ever experience!

FIELD ASSISTANT AND GUIDES

They are well known in the dove hunting world as bird boys, but we call them field assistants because we understand that they are the key success for the best experience ever for all our hunters.

Over the years, all our field assistants have perfected the level of professionalism and are the best in taking care and handling all details for our guests, from the moment they arrive at the field till it is time to get back to our premium lodges.

The personal field assistants are in their thirties and most of them have been working in the field for many years; this becomes apparent when you see them shooting. They work hard every day preparing your blind, carrying shells, shotguns, drinks, and stools to your spot. They are also responsible for cleaning the field and picking up all shells expended.
