Mushroom Foraging - Missouri Woods
Bland, MO
1-6 Guests
Description
These woods are the perfect place to begin your quest for Missouri Wild Mushrooms. During Morel Season, they are ripe with morels waiting to be discovered. One found recently was the size of a grown person's hand! We have also found chanterelles, oysters and lion's mane.
There are other fun things to find on the land such as wildflowers, antler sheds, walnuts, and different types of moss.
Feel free to come explore!
Easy access by the main road and through the gate.

Rules & Guidelines
No hunting, fishing or trapping on this land.
We are not responsible for an incorrect ID of edible/poisonous mushrooms. The Missouri Department of Conservation has a great guide available on this topic.
Please wear sturdy shoes and bring water/snacks if needed.
No driving on the land—park your vehicle in front of the gate on the designated spot and walk around the gate.
Feel free to enjoy lunch at the picnic table on the south part of the property, but please bring all trash with you. We check after every guest and will give a bad review if the location is left in a disrespectful manner.
Lastly, please check in with us about what you find! We like to keep a log of what is found, and where, so if you could check in with us after your experience we’d love to hear from you.
