Description
Drift and Wade on the Penobscot River Maine
This is a full-day guided fishing trip for up to two anglers
Catch and Release
The Penobscot River is the largest river in Maine. It starts on the Canadian border which makes up the west and east branch. In Medway it comes back together forming the main river where there are endless opportunities to chase smallmouth bass. The Penobscot is one of the best smallmouth rivers in the country. Some days we average 30 fish and 100 fish days are not unheard of. We use 4-8 weight fly rods or light spinning rods, depending on your ability.
The river is mostly undeveloped and more days than not I do not see another soul.
We provide all gear but feel free to bring your own.
Pack lunch provided
Must have Maine fishing license
