First 4 Days of the Season
Kentucky Deer Hunting offers the ability for hunting bucks in velvet. The deer patters are consistent between bedding and food. This is a prime time to catch groups of bachelor bucks visiting food sources.
Our velvet deer hunts yield excellent success rates and the opportunity at a giant trophy whitetail in velvet. These hunts take place the first week of September and are often booked in advance. Kentucky Velvet Hunts are highly sought-after hunts, and we've got some of the best ground to put you on that velvet buck of a lifetime.

The Hunt
Your hunting days are full days, you will arrive at camp the day before and leave the day after. All hunts include meals and lodging. Transportation can be provided to and from surrounding airports.
This past season, our clients experienced a 75% opportunity rate and a 50% success rate. We specialize in putting you on that buck of a lifetime and the excellent hunting in Kentucky affords us the opportunity to do that.

Our guides and staff work on tips. They work their hardest to ensure that your hunt is an excellent experience. It is customary to tip in the 15-20% range on the price of the hunt.
Base price is per person for a 4-Day Early Season Archery Velvet Hunt.

Persons born on or after Jan. 1, 1975, must carry a valid hunter education card or hunter education exemption permit while hunting. Children younger than 12 years old are exempt from hunter education certification but must be accompanied by an adult who meets the hunter education requirement.
All hunters, and persons accompanying them, must wear outer garments of hunter orange color visible from all sides on the head, back, and chest when hunting during daylight hours for any species during the modern gun, muzzleloader, and youth firearm deer seasons, or a firearm elk or bear season.
