Idaho Summer Drop Camp Trips are a wonderful Pack in Vacation into the backcountry for those families or groups who want to be alone to appreciate the beauty of the Idaho wilderness mountains. Idaho wilderness camping trips can be arranged for a family or groups who choose to provide their own food and prepare it themselves. You will ride in and out of one of our drop camps on horseback and we will do all the packing of your personal items and food. We will set up a camp and cut the firewood to ensure you have a relaxing Idaho pack-in vacation.

If you prefer, we will set your drop camps near lakes or streams. This is a perfect opportunity to bring along your fishing poles to enjoy fantastic fishing on the Boise National Forest Salmon River Mountain Rage numerous lakes, streams and rivers. Can you just smell the aroma of simmering hot coffee and freshly caught fish sizzling over your campfire, followed by toasted marshmallows, mmhhmm are we there yet?

The solitude of this Salmon River Mountain Range backcountry offers your family or group the opportunity to focus on one another as you take in the glory of the nature surrounding you! Idaho summer drop camp pack-in vacations offer something for everyone including fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing, photography, flying a kite in an open meadow, horseback riding, reading under the shade of tall pine trees, or sharing stories by an evening fire.
