Description
Permit Fishing
3/4-Day | 6-Hour Charter
Ready to mark one off the bucket list? Sportfishing the hard-fighting Permit on the West Coast of Florida is absolutely amazing! Unlike most areas, our Permit congregate on specific locations in our Nearshore waters, and our Barrier Islands provide fish like you haven't seen before. We fish for permit up to 9nm off our coast from 20'-50' of water, and strive for healthy release on all Permit to ensure our fishery lasts for generations to come.
The Boat
This custom-built 23' Hanson tower boat offers an extremely dry and comfortable ride for up to 6 passengers! It's wide beam allows for a very stable and roomy day on the water. Built specifically for this coast, the 23' Hanson is the perfect bay boat for the flats, drafting only 10" of water, and it's high bow allows it to head out the passes and seamlessly slip through the rougher conditions of the nearshore fishery. The tower and it's wide top offers nice shade for those hot sunny days and the open deck has plenty of room for big coolers, which means ice cold beverages!

"We hired Jeff last minute today for a sight seeing trip around Useppa island and the neighboring area. He arrived ahead of time, welcomed us on board and off we went. A concern for the safety and comfort of our 91-year old father was paramount and he made us all comfortable.
Jeff is very knowledgeable about the area and adjusted the tour to our likes and interests. Even though the storm we tried to outrun beat us, we had a great time. Ducked into Miller’s marina for safe cover from the lightning while we enjoyed a well poured cocktail. In typical summertime Florida fashion, the storm moved on and the sun came back out and we were back out on the water.
Jeff, thank you! We will look you up again when we return to Useppa again soon." - Michael S.
"If your looking for a fishing charter captain in southwest florida. Captain Jeff... is your guy. He took out my fiance and I out fishing for some target inshore species such as Redfish and Snook. I have talked with a lot of other local guides and they did not sound confident about heading out with this cold weather we have been experiencing but Jeff knows his waters and put us on fish while other either did not go out or did not produce results. I would recommend him over any other captain hands down!" - Charles S.
"If you want to catch fish then book a trip with Capt Jeff...if you want to come home empty handed then book with another guide. Had a great time and he put us on fish all day!! Great guy with an amazing rig!!" - Robert C.
