Our mission is to provide you with unforgettable quail hunting as well as a great experience in Georgia. Of course, this includes a touch of Southern hospitality at an affordable rate that allows all to hunt. Join us on a quail hunt in Georgia this winter to experience a day in the field and make some memories with friends, co-workers, and family.


Our Quail Hunting Packages

All Georgia quail hunting packages include professional quail hunting guides, dogs, necessary licensing, bottled water, and transportation from course to course. Quail hunts are from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Additionally, we require a minimum of two hunters per group. Our wing shooting weekend packages can be altered to weekdays to fit your schedule.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a corporate group or two hunters that would like to hunt for half-day, full-day, or a weekend of wing shooting. Gray Ghost Plantation can put together a package that includes lodging and meals for the group, no matter how big or small. Base price is per hunter for a half-day Quail hunt for 4 hunters. Smaller groups are an additional fee per person. Make it a full-day hunt or add lunch or lodging for additional fees per person.

Rules & Guidelines

Rules: All hunters must wear an orange vest or hat during the hunt. All hunters will be required to attend a brief safety meeting and obey all safety rules. All hunters must be at least 12 years old to hunt. A supervising adult must accompany hunters between 12 – 15 years old, with only one person hunting at a time.

All hunters born on or after Jan. 1, 1961, must successfully complete a hunter education course before purchasing a hunting license. All hunter education courses certified or mandated by any state wildlife agency or Canadian province are accepted.


Hunters under the age of 16 are not required to complete a hunter's education course but must be under direct supervision during hunts if they opt not to take one.


A big game license is required to harvest big game. Alligator hunters must carry an alligator harvest permit. A Georgia Migratory Bird Stamp is required for any person who hunts migratory birds.
