What to Expect
- Turkey Hunts - These hunts are generally started in or near blind locations. hunters are able to move around with detailed communication with management staff and other guides. Safety is our number one priority.
- Deer Hunts - Early and late-season hunts can be tremendous. We tend to kill some of our biggest deer during the early and late seasons. They are also affected a lot by the weather. The pace of early and late-season hunts is not a fast-paced hunt, but it is a great opportunity to see quality deer. Pre- Rut hunts are excellent. We tend to hunt deer that we know are active in an area even if that activity is nocturnal. During the Pre Rut, we often harvest deer when they "daylight" for the first time. Rut hunts can be fast and furious. They have the most deer activity out of all of our hunts. Rut hunts are very unpredictable. It is common to harvest deer that were spotted a short time before miles away. The best advice we can give all of our hunters during the rut is to stay in your stand all day. Activity can occur at any time throughout the day.

Rules & Guidelines
License Requirements
Unless exempt, an individual must have a signed or digital deer hunting, resident youth hunt/trap, lifetime comprehensive hunting, or lifetime comprehensive hunting/fishing license when hunting deer on public or private land. Except with the deer license bundle, comprehensive lifetime hunting license, and resident youth hunt/trap license, only one deer can be taken per deer hunting license. Our lodging accommodations are located 30 miles from the preserve in Madison, IN. Transportation will be provided to/from our lodge.
