Description
Specializing in Full-Day Goose Hunts in Luxury Pit Blinds
Our guide service was established in 2017. We are a group of friends that met through our passion of waterfowl hunting. In 2009 we put our first pit blind in the ground. We soon realized that it is our favorite way to hunt. Our pits provide meticulous concealment on the outside, and comfort on the inside. This makes our hunts more successful and enjoyable.
Over the years, with the help of some very generous farmers and landowners, we have been able to create a hunting experience that combines an optimal chance for hunting success with warmth and comfort to accommodate hunters of all ages.
We know that a lot of hunters don’t get to spend the amount of time in the field as they wish they could. We appreciate those who choose to spend that time with us and are dedicated to making each hunt special. The thrill of watching birds decoy and making memories with friends and family is the reason that we do it. When the weather gets cold and the snow starts flying you will find us underground. We will be brewing a pot of coffee and discussing how to set the decoys. We will be frying bacon on the grill and anticipating the next flock of birds. We would love for you to come join us.
What to Expect
Our hunts will start around daybreak. The decoys will be set and ready when you arrive. We run very large decoy spreads (between 40-100 dozen). We will have you settle in with a cup of coffee while the guides cook you breakfast in the blind.
Our blinds are located outside of Fergus Falls. Fergus is a waterfowl refuge that hosts thousands of geese each fall. The geese fly out each day to feed. There is typically a morning flight and an afternoon flight.
The hunts are very interactive. You will spend the day hunting, eating, and enjoying time with friends and family.

I fell in love with waterfowl hunting at a young age when my dad would take my brothers and I duck hunting. The challenge of getting waterfowl to decoy right where you want them to is simply addicting. Being able to share the experience with friends and family is the icing on the cake. When I am not chasing waterfowl I am either spending time with my wife Kaila and son Henry, or managing construction projects in Fargo-Moorhead.

What to Expectprior to the hunt -
- We will be in contact with you a day or two before your hunt. Flight patterns change suddenly so we will most likely not know where you will be hunting until the night before your hunt. The night before your hunt you will be introduced to your specific guide. Meeting times will vary depending on the time of year and what the current weather conditions look like. Once you get settled into the blind, we will discuss how the hunting has been and go through a safety meeting. In the months of September and October, we do not hunt all day. We often hunt in the morning only or in the morning and afternoon with a break in between. November and December hunts typically last from sunrise to sunset. Meals are typically in the blind on these hunts. If you have questions we are happy to answer them, so feel free to reach out!
