Description

GOOSE HUNTS

Our areas have been blessed with strong numbers of resident Giant Canada’s, migrating Canada’s, and the largest staging areas late late in the season! Goose hunting here is some of the best in the country, especially when all the “Giants” gather into huge feeds and staging areas late fall and early winter. All hunts are done out off layout blinds or A-frames depending on our hide and as with any of our hunts you will be hunting over top of the line gear.

DUCK HUNTS

If duck hunting is your passion you have come to the right guys, we shoot mixed limits of ducks including Mallards, Pintails, Teals, Widgeons and just about every duck that makes its way through the central flyway. Our dry field hunts are what most waterfowlers dream of! These hunts can take place in a wide variety of fields including corn, beans, peas, or other small grain crops. If the conditions are right we may also have the opportunity to hunt out of flooded fields which is always a treat. If the birds are not using the fields in a consistent pattern we have the ability to pursue them on many of the local potholes.

Daily Limit–6 (see Ducks and Mergansers restrictions below)

Possession Limit–Three times the daily limit

Shooting Hours–30 minutes before sunrise to sunset.

The daily bag limit on ducks is 6 with species and sex restrictions as follows: 5 mallards of which only 2 may be hens, 3 scaup, 3 wood ducks, 2 redheads, 2 canvasbacks, 2 pintails. Note: An additional 2 blue-winged teal may be taken from September 22 through October 7 only. The daily limit of 5 mergansers may include no more than 2 hooded mergansers. The possession limit on these restricted ducks and the hooded merganser is three times the daily limit.
