Opening Day | Lunch Served Before the Shoot

We are pleased to kick off the 2023 hunting season with our annual Opening Day Dove Shoot Saturday, September 2nd! We are located just 20 miles northeast of Athens, and are only 1 hour away from Atlanta and South Carolina. Spots are chosen from a map of the property and are chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis. The price includes a delicious BBQ lunch served before the shoot. We have roughly 100 acres of field space planted in sorghum and sunflowers.

Spots are booking fast so book today and don’t miss out!

  • When: Saturday, Sept. 2nd - Spot choice will begin at 9 am with lunch served at 11

  • Where: Royston, Georgia

  • Parking: Parking lot next to the clubhouse. Larger groups are encouraged to carpool

  • Field: Approximately 100 Acres planted in Sunflowers and Sorghum. There are several creeks on the property and also power lines in different locations.

  • Choosing Your Spot: There are numbered stakes throughout the fields to indicate spots, and we have a map of the property with the spots marked. At 9 am we will begin the process of choosing spots off the map until all spots are chosen by first come/first serve.

  • ATV’s are welcome

  • No Blinds Provided

  • HIP Permit and Valid Hunting License Required.

Base price is per person and includes lunch served before the shoot!

All hunters born on or after Jan. 1, 1961 must successfully complete a hunter education course before purchasing a hunting license. All hunter education courses certified or mandated by any state wildlife agency or Canadian province are accepted.

Hunters under the age of 16 are not required to complete a hunter's education course, but must be under direct supervision during hunts if they opt not to take one.

A big game license is required to harvest big game. Alligator hunters must carry an alligator harvest permit. A Georgia Migratory Bird Stamp is required for any person who hunts migratory birds.
