Description

Crane Hunt

There is nothing in the world of Waterfowl Hunting that compares to the hunting of Sandhill Cranes. These birds are magnificent to watch as they glide into the decoys from what seems like a mile above the Texas Prairie. We know these prized birds are a bucket list hunt for most waterfowl hunters.

We have worked hard to establish long-term relationships with local landowners so we can ensure we are hitting the right fields, on the right days where large flocks of Sandhill Cranes are feeding. Not only is this an exciting hunt, but a tasty one. They don’t call Sandhill Cranes the Ribeye of the sky for nothing!

Rules & Guidelines

Safety

Every hunter has been there and done that. It is our duty to continue to keep our clients, team, and partners safe at all times. We will require that every hunter, experienced or not, have the proper licensing, required education (if applicable), and state/federal stamps. We do a basic safety overview and evaluation prior to each hunt, if you are new to hunting, don't worry! We will ensure you are up to speed with safety prior to departure.

Safety will never be compromised and we stress this with each hunter as we debrief prior to each outing. No Alcohol and/or illegal drugs of any kind are allowed on the hunt and/or in-person or you will forfeit your costs to date.

Logistics

It's simple, we do all the work. All of the stagings of decoys and setup and take-down of blinds will be facilitated by our team. Hunters just are prepared to be safe, stay warm, and shoot.

Fly into Amarillo International Airport (AMA).

Bring your firearm and shells.

Check here for TSA Rules (https://www.tsa.gov/travel/transporting-firearms-and-ammunition)

You will need a Texas hunting license. (https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/licenses/hunting-licenses-and-permits/hunting-licenses)

We recommend you rent a vehicle to get around.

We negotiated a local hotel for $70/Night. Please contact us directly if you’d like details.

Come and enjoy the experience.
