"What a fantastic trip! I arrived with two friends to hunt elk and on my very first set over a water hole, killed my 1st elk ever with a muzzleloader, A nice 6X7. My two friends were bow hunting. One hit a bull but was unable to recover him, the other shot a real nice cow on the second day. There is a generous amount of game in the area, elk, deer, bear, and I even saw a huge bull moose.

All the guides were fantastic and really knew the area well. The entire staff were a great bunch of people and I left feeling more like a friend than a client. They will hunt anyway you want to. You can stand hunt or prowl and call.

This is a great hunt to go on if you are like me and getting up in age, a very easy hunt if you hunt out of one of their many stands.

The facilities are first rate with cabins, a main lodge, and a walk in cooler for your game. Believe me, Drew will not let you go hungry, first rate food all the way, although I will admit since I killed my bull the first day I missed out on a few of the 4:30 breakfasts.

I will certainly be back, thanks guys for a hunt to remember." - Michael S

"What a great time! Good people good staff great area good times! I will definitely be back Drew you put 5 pounds on me in a week, five star chef working in that kitchen didn’t have one meal that was bad. Bucky and Dylan you guys rock! Will be seeing you all this summer. You can’t blame the guides, the area or anything else when you don’t get an elk because of 80° weather and full moons. I harvested a small cow. But there were BIG ones around! Such a great time. Made some new friends and an all-around a great experience! I will definitely be back and if you have time and want to go to a great place I would recommend Bearcreek hunting adventures." - Allen D

"My Dad and I just returned from our Elk Hunt (first rifle season), the weather was unseasonably warm this year so there was still a lot of cover. My dad was able to take a 6x6 on the am of day 2 off one of the properties private ponds. We worked with a very knowledgeable guide Patrick, he and I hunted the National Forest adjacent to the private land as well as a few spots on the property and had many elk encounters. No big bulls unfortunately and I waited to long to fill my cow tag. Bulls were still bugling so we were able to get on a few great stalks.

The accommodations were upscale rustic (flush toilets, showers, wood stoves, solar power and well water) with good food and overall a great experience. If you are looking for a hunting trip with "hunting guys" this is the place to go.

If you like to get after a hunt and do some hiking get your body tuned up or if you are looking for a more laid back drop off spot they have that too. Prices are very affordable, the guides and cook work for tips and are unpaid by the camp so bring some coin to take care of those taking care of you.

I may bring my own quad next time but it certainly is not needed. They do a good job of transporting you around in the camp trucks.

This was our first experience with a hunt through an outfitter and we are avid MI deer and waterfowl hunters. I wasn't looking for a high fenced trophy hunt just a real hunt and that is exactly what we got. Every hunter in our camp had opportunities for Bulls (including me and a few misses from others to remain unnamed) and cows alike. The property and atmosphere is great." - Robert D
