Description
Fishing the Louisiana Coastline
With endless miles of coastline, Louisiana is the Redfish Capital of the World hands down! Louisiana redfish have minimal fishing pressure and are the most plentiful and aggressive of their species along the gulf coast. For Fly anglers, the endless bayous and coastline of Delacroix, La offer anglers endless opportunities to sight cast redfish in gin clear water. The abundance of large Redfish, Black Drum, and Speckled Trout make it easy to have an action-packed day on a fly rod. Because Capt. Chris has been fishing these waters all of his life, he understands the patience and skill needed to give fly anglers every opportunity to present their flies to each species.
When preparing for your trip, it is recommended that you bring plenty of IGFA Class 4-8 & 20 lb hand-tied leaders and weight forward floating fly line. Crab and Shrimp patterned flies with a dominant chartreuse color work well. When you call we can review any other fly patterns that might be producing. The waters that we will be fishing normally run 3 feet deep or less, so the weather conditions can be a key factor. When booking, I recommend that you have a couple of days available just in case the weather on the day you booked is not optimal.
Base Price is for 2 Anglers.
