We offer a 6-day spring or fall black bear hunt. In BC it is illegal to bait bears, this is a spot and stalk hunt in the roaded area of our 1250 sq. mile hunting territory. The bear hides at this time of year are in excellent shape and the bears are good and healthy fattening up on berries and getting ready for a long sleep. Black bears average 6 feet squared with bears between 6 and a half to 7 feet taken every year. With an opportunity rate of 100%, this is a great hunt for the hunter after a black bear with a traditional spot and stalk approach.

Our area is full of bears, in fact, you can take two bears if you desire. 5-10% of our bears are in color phase ranging from solid black to black with a white blaze, to cinnamon and chocolate. We hunt for these bears from our base camp and we can accommodate up to 4 hunters at once. If you want a black bear or two, this is your outfit, we boast a 100% opportunity rate, not to mention a quality experience in a must-see area of the world!

My prices do not include 5% GST (tax), GOABC $250 HPF (Hunter Preservation Fund), $250 transportation charge from/to Smithers airport if applicable, hotel accommodations prior to or following the hunt, any extra species tags, meat processing, taxidermy work, fishing licenses if applicable, gratuities for staff, alcohol.

Base price is per person per 2x1 guided 6-Day hunt for 1 trophy. Make it a 1x1 guided hunt, or add an additional trophy tag for additional fees per person. (Max 4)

Trophy fee for the second trophy is due upon harvest.
