6-Day Archery Bull Elk Private Hunt | New Mexico

Las Vegas, NV

1-2 Guests

Description

6 Days

1x1 or 2x1 Guided

Our New Mexico archery elk hunts take place in September during the pre-rut through the middle stages of the rut. These hunts definitely present some of the best opportunities to kill the some of the biggest bulls in our areas. The bulls are typically very vocal during this period, which can make for exciting and action-packed hunts. In 2004, one of our archery hunters killed an incredible bull that gross scored 427″ P&Y and became the new New Mexico state record at the time. That record held until 2015, when another one of our archery hunters killed an unbelievable bull gross scoring 440″ P&Y. Both of these bulls are among the top ten non-typical bulls ever harvested in the world with a bow.

Almost every year several of our archery hunters get opportunities at 400 class bulls, but realistically hunters need to expect opportunities at 300-360″+ bulls on any of our archery hunts.

These hunts all take place in high desert terrain at approximately 7500′ elevation with Pinion and Juniper vegetation. They are not extremely physically demanding and are probably some of the easiest areas to hunt elk in the country.

Meals and Lodging included. Non-hunter guests are welcome for an additional fee.

Base price is for a 2x1 guided hunt.

For the 1x1 and other fees such as licenses/tags and additional days, see Additional Costs.
