Guided 1x1 or 2x1
We are based in the center of Washington's moose hunting areas. We have been guiding hunters in this area for over 40 years with dozens of successful moose hunts to their credit. Our guides are the most experienced moose hunting guides in Washington and have an A+ rating at the Better Business Bureau.
Guided Hunts
Include lodging, meals, an experienced moose hunting guide, 4x4 transportation, field dressing, skinning, and game retrieval.
Hunting Methods
Depending on your weapon and time of the season, hunt methods may include using a 4x4 vehicle for access, glassing logging cuts and hillsides, watching water holes or feeding areas, calling, and tracking.
Hunt Areas
Most of the moose hunting areas are in northeast Washington north of Spokane. Elevations vary from 2500 to 6000 feet, the terrain is rolling mountains and drainages with dense evergreen forests and logging cuts.
Success and Weapons
Shot opportunity has been 100% most years. Rifles should be .25 caliber or larger and zeroed at 200 yards, most shots are 50 to 250 yards. Archers should practice from 10 to 60 yards.
Season & Best Time
Moose seasons run from Oct 1 to Nov 30. Archery is best in early October when rutting bulls can be called in close. Rifle hunting is also very good in late Oct or Nov after leaves fall and snow offers better visibility and tracking.
Accommodations
Indoor lodging and meals are provided at our home/lodge and cabins. Hunters will need to bring a 4x4 auto for their own transportation.
Base price is for the 2x1 Hunt. For the 1x1 Hunt, see Additional Costs.
Non-Hunters are included in Additional Costs.
