3-Day Missouri Wild Hog Hunt - Baited
Arcadia, MO
2-5 Hunters
Description
We have over 5,000 acres of farm property in Southeast Missouri that are overrun with hogs. There are too many pigs to hunt, this is a war!! We need help!!!! The feral hog population has doubled since the MDC started "getting rid of them." It's getting bad and we need the public's help.
THE HUNT
It's the hunter's choice. We will hunt pigs over bait or use dogs.
December - March = Prime time for hunting but we can hunt year round.
OPTION 1: DOGS
Morning Hunt
Max # of Hunters - 4
When hunting with dogs, we ride around the property and let the dogs bay pigs on big tracts of land. We then slip in to finish the job with a knife or shot. These are physically taxing hunts. Hunters must be physically fit to have success, but it is almost a guaranteed kill.
If you'd like to call your hunt a little early, we can go back to the cabin and cook up some hog steaks for a hearty lunch. We recommend you bring a lunch box and beverages in case we don't get the time to do that. Hog dog hunts are action-packed and we may not get much time to eat.
OPTION 2: BAITED
Nighttime Hunt
Max # of Hunters - 5
Prime-time: 9 pm - 3 am
Baited hunted are over new feeds each night with kill lights. We use big box blinds, ground blinds, stands -- we have it all and have the ability to do whatever you want to do. Pigs come to feeders every night and we offer many different shooting house options. We have heated blinds with windows, as well as ground blinds.
These are all night hunts, with 10 - 20 pigs in each sounder and possibly including some trophy boar around 150 + pounds.
