PERMIT AND STAMP REQUIREMENTS AND EXCEPTIONS
Resident
- Spring or fall turkey permit
- Habitat stamp*
*Residents who hold a 64-and-older veteran or 69-and-older senior permit do not need to purchase a habitat stamp to hunt turkey. They must carry their 64-and-older veteran or 69-and-older senior permit while hunting.
Resident youth under 16
- Spring or fall youth turkey permit
Nonresident
- Spring or fall turkey permit
- Habitat stamp
Nonresident youth under 16
- Spring or fall youth turkey permit
- Habitat stamp
Permit details
Buying a permit: Permits are plentiful and may be bought at Game and Parks permitting offices, online or by mail. In the spring, hunters may buy up to three permits good for one bird each; fall hunters may buy two permits good for two birds. In 2015, Nebraska also began offering mobile turkey permits.
Resident: $30 | Nonresident: $128 | Youth: $8
All permits must have a $25 habitat stamp.
