Description
North Carolina Black Bear Hunts Over Bait
3-Day Hunt | Meals and Lodging Included
If you are looking to book a hunt of a lifetime you need to come book with us! We offer a variety of opportunities from the mountains of North Carolina all the way to the swamps of eastern North Carolina on farms that total close to 12,000 acres! Our over bait hunts for Black Bear are offered on the east coast of North Carolina in Beaufort County. The eastern counties of NC are known for having some of the largest and most plentiful populations of black bears in the United States. The agricultural supply along with the temperatures never reaching the "hibernation" range means that NC black bears eat year-round, gaining upwards of 100lbs a year. That mixed with NC's baiting laws of NO PROCESSED FOODS on the baits makes for the perfect growth and reproductive storm.
25 years of experience making dreams a reality. We have a lodge on both sides of the state.
We hunt swamps and thick brush and also rough man terrain. We have a lot of hardwoods with white oak flats on them. Stand hunts take place on 2,000 acres.
The average size bear in the mountains is 150 to 200 pounds. The average bear on the coast is 300 to 450 pounds but some bears are 500+ pounds.
The 3-Day over bait hunt for black bear is offered at the east coast of North Carolina in Beaufort County. Lodging, meals, and harvest retrieval is included in the price of the hunt.

"Fantastic experience! first time bear hunting let alone hunting with a group of people. Was greeted and welcomed at the door with Southern hospitality. Great group of people both men and women just enjoying the outdoors and environment which is safe and respectable. Did not get a bear but I can't say that they do not try their hardest. Will be returning next year for another attempt!!" - Aaron L.
