10-Day Alaskan Combo Hunt

This is a 1-on-1, 10-day fall hunt and is offered once a year between Sept. 10 - Oct. 20 for up to 2 hunters. This hunt takes place in mid-September during the beginning of the moose "rut". Moose range in size from "spike" to 55 Inches and are hunted around the countless meadows, lakes, and rivers encompassing the area. This is a road-based hunt, transportation is by vehicle and sometimes by boat or canoe. The physical nature of this hunt demands the hunter to be in good shape as hiking and good mobility are required. The black bears are still out at this time of year fattening up for their winter hibernation and are hunted in the various logging blocks spot & stalk style. Black bear hides at this time of year are in excellent shape and bears average 5 and a half to 6 feet squared with bears 6 to 7 feet taken every year. For the hunter looking for a semi-remote hunting opportunity at a good quality black bear and a chance at a Canadian moose, this is your hunt.

My prices do not include 5% GST (tax), GOABC $250 HPF (Hunter Preservation Fund), $250 transportation charge from/to Smithers airport if applicable, hotel accommodations prior to or following the hunt, any extra species tags, meat processing, taxidermy work, fishing licenses if applicable, gratuities for staff, alcohol.

Base Price is per person for a 1x1 Guided hunt and includes your first species (moose or bear). The second trophy (moose or bear) is an additional fee.
