Description
Private Ranch / Public Land Hunt
3-Day | Horseback Pack-in
We take only a limited number of hunters each year to ensure individual attention and trophy quality opportunities. Our specialty or nieche in the industry is that we offer true pack-in wilderness hunts using well-trained mountain horses and mules to get you back where the big bulls live.
We hunt from quality wall tent camps with cots and pads in sleep tents and a cook/dining tent with a full-time cook and full-time cooke using a full-time wrangler and 1x1 guide service.
AMENITIES
We provide a string of seasoned mules to pack our gear and yours on. We saddle up our clients on good gentle mountain horses and travel back into the wilderness to our different campsites.
Our campsites include big dome tents, a fully stocked camp kitchen, camp chairs, camp tables, lighting, and a camp water station.
Base price is per person for a 3-Day Javelina hunt guide fee only.

The NM Game Dept. is cutting rifle elk tags in our wilderness unit due to reduced harvest levels of the past three years so it will make it harder to draw rifle tags, but archery tags remain the same.
We encourage and highly recommend our clients to be in the best shape possible and be prepared to put many miles on horseback in some really tough country. We put you on good gentle mountain horses and are guided by our professional and competent guides.
This is our 36 th anniversary of guiding hunters as San Francisco River Outfitters mostly in the Gila Wilderness. Our many years of experience gives our hunters an advantage over our competitors. Over the years we have done our very best to keep our prices as low as possible and provide outstanding value to every one of our hunters. Unfortunately, we are facing unprecedented inflation impacting every angle of our expenses and we have had to increase our prices. We are very reluctant to do so but we hope you understand that as a small, family-owned business this is necessary for us to continue operating and sharing our world-class wilderness trophy hunts with sportsmen from all over the country and world.
