Howdy! I’m Wes, like most people with a passion for the outdoors, I grew up running around South, Central, and West Texas hunting and fishing and spending as much time outdoors as possible. After spending almost 10 years in commercial construction, with the last 3 of those years moving to Austin, TX, and opening and running the Austin branch, I was headed home from a 7-day elk hunt in Colorado and knew it was time for a change. I had been guiding and running hunts since I was 16 and had always dreamed of owning my own outfitting business so I formed my own outfit in November of 2005 and the rest as they say “is history.” I’ve been on enough hunts, with big camps, where you don’t know the majority of the people you are hunting with, and what kind of experience you were going to have with them, that I knew I wanted to do things differently. I’m on each and every hunt to ensure that you have a great experience and the best opportunity at your trophy. When you book a hunt with me, you and your group will have exclusive rights to the ranch for the duration of your hunt. I’ve got some of the best private ranches in the state and whether you’re an individual, husband/wife, father/son or daughter, group of friends, or a corporate group, I can tailor the hunt to your specific needs and desires.
