Master Captain Mike was born and raised along the shores of Lake Erie and started fishing at eight years old for perch and as a teenager roamed the rivers for steelhead. He has been chasing walleyes through the ice for 30 years and started trolling Lake Erie more than 20 years ago.

Master Capt. Mike “Moke" Mochan has been fishing “The Walleye Capital of the World” Lake Erie for over 40 yrs for Walleye , Perch and Steelhead. If someone can take you to catch trophy walleye, its Capt. Moke. Capt. Moke has been a firefighter / Paramedic for over 30 yrs. in the Cleveland area and safety is his number one priority. Plus, he regularly compeates in fishing tournaments on Lake Erie and other bodies of water. In 2017 Capt. Moke won the prestigious Cabela’s National Walleye Tournament Trail, and has had top 5 finishes in other tournaments.
