Captain Gary has been fishing his entire life – he has been U.S. Coast guard licensed since 1984 (License # 777397). Gary has extensive experience deep sea fishing in waters from Maine to the Bahamas, as far as 100 miles offshore.
He is known for his expertise with Striped Bass, Cod, Sharks, and Giant Bluefin Tuna. Originally from New Jersey, Capt. Gary learned and perfected the art and science of giant bluefin tuna fishing. Tuna Hunter would follow bluefin tuna up and down the New England coast each season, frequenting Brielle/Manasquan, NJ, Montauk, NY, Point Judith, RI and Chatham and Gloucester, MA. Captain Gary and Tuna Hunter moved to Gloucester in 1995 when caught and landed by a mermaid. When not hunting, Gary is tuna fishing, bass fishing, cod fishing, fly fishing. diving or ice fishing. Come fall and winter, Gary is hunting birds, deer or elk. He is always searching for new Gloucester fishing hot sports, new techniques, and new ways to get fishing to bite – always hunting and fishing in some way or manner.
