After earning a degree in Wildlife Management and Conservation with an emphasis on Fishery Biology from Missouri State University (formerly Southwest Missouri State University), Darren began working in the fishing and outdoor industry. Darren's lifelong dream of operating his own fishing guide business is now a reality and he is eager to share his vast knowledge with you.

He has worked for several well-known outdoors companies including Bass Pro Shops, Drury Outdoors, and Rapala/Storm where he provided expert advice to clients and enthusiasts. Darren's lifelong dream of operating his own fly fishing guide service is now a reality and he is eager to share his vast knowledge with you. When he is not on the water, Darren enjoys tying flies, foraging for edible mushrooms, and spending time with his trusty K-9 companion, Pepper, who is equally passionate about fishing and hunting. Darren's passion for the outdoors is infectious and he enjoys sharing it with fellow pros and newcomers alike.
