Proud captain, husband, and outdoorsman. Happy to be your guide out on the water!

I have been involved in the outdoors for as long as I can remember. From fishing, deer hunting, duck hunting, and upland bird hunting I have always loved to be out in nature. Where I really found my true passion is in fishing and guiding. I was born and raised in Manistee, Michigan, and first mated locally for 10 years starting at the age of 11. Finally, after years of hard work I went off on my own and starting my own charter business when I turned 20. I previously attended Grand Rapids Community College, where I studied Business Marketing, then continued on to Central Michigan University where I finished out my education. While attending GRCC I was blessed to met my wife Emma who is also an avid outdoorsman. We took the jump together, and started Fire Plug Charters the summer before Emma and I got married. We happily own the Charter business together and work year round, day in and day out. This is our passion, and we love sharing the passion and love for our town with our clients. With dedication and hard work I have been able to turn this life long dream of being a Captain and Guide into a reality. I take pride in everything I do and would love to share that with you.
